Caring about the Planet
We have undertaken a number of “green initiatives” that benefit our residents, their immediate surroundings and the greater environment. Where there are recycling facilities in place, our on-site managers support and encourage resident recycling efforts. From providing recycling bags for sale in the offices to providing valet pick up service, we facilitate every effort to make a difference.
Our newest facility, Windsor West in Champaign, Illinois, was constructed with geothermal heating and cooling, energy-efficient windows and doors, and offers valet recycling pick-up for residents. The response from that community and residents has been very positive. And, we believe it will help improve the environment.
